Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 35 - Inventor 2010 Preview (Sheet Metal, Srink Wrap, UCS)
Sitat
Here is the final podcast in the series to wrap up what is new in Inventor 2010. There is much more in Inventor 2010 than we can cover in a few podcasts but this episode we cover new sheet metal enhancements, creation of UCS in parts & assemblies as well as shrinkwrap components.
Many of you have been asking for things like transitional shapes and my favorite (contour roll), so take a look at the latest podcast to see some of the new tools in Inventor. Next month we will return to our regular podcasts.

Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 37 - Adaptivity
Sitat
Inventor has had something we call Adaptivity since day one although over the years I hear few and fewer people use it. If used correctly, Adaptivity is a great tool when you need to layout your design and don't know the exact sizes l but need to snap it together. There are some really good uses for it so I wanted to put a quick tip together of some ways you can use.

Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 38 - Hidden Shortcuts
Sitat
There are some great hidden shortcuts in Inventor that many of you probably aren't aware of. Many of these shortcuts have been in the product since the early days of Inventor so they aren't tied to only newer versions of Inventor. Many of these shortcuts use the Shift, Ctrl or Alt key in carious environments. Take a look at the latest podcast and as usual, send feedback.

Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 39 - Drawing Tips and Tricks
Sitat
have received several emails wondering if I was still podcasting. Yes I am still doing it and should be able to get back on a regular schedule (if I ever had one). This episode I cover various tasks to help annotate your drawings. I also cover several ways to add more intelligent data that will update with your model.
Auto centerlines
Move model dimensions from one view to another
Add associative text to 3D model
Add balloons with associative items like models mass properties

Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 40 - Constraints (part 1 of 2)
Sitat
This is a part one of a two part series that covers constraints. I received an email from a listener that requested an episode around constraints. This episode covers assembly constraints such as Mate, Angle, Tangent and Insert constraints. I will also cover how you can drive (animate) constraints as well as leverage adaptivity for items like a spring.
The second part of this series will cover Motion Constraints, Transitional Constraints and Constraint Sets.

Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 41 - Constraints (part 2 of 2)
Sitat
This is the second part part one of a two part series that covers constraints. Last episode we covered assembly constraints such as Mate, Angle, Tangent and Insert constraints. I also showed how you can drive (animate) constraints as well as leverage adaptivity for items like a spring.
This episode I cover Motion, Transitional and Constraint Set constraints. This will show you how to constrain gears, cams and how to position components through defining a user coordinate system.

Official Autodesk Inventor Podcast Episode 42 - Using DWG files
Sitat
I often get questions around importing/exporting DWG files with Inventor. Many of you have need to work with 2D DWG files between AutoCAD and Inventor and at times also need to open or save 3D DWG files. This episode is all around how to leverage DWG files between both AutoCAD and Inventor. I also use a great little tool that was recently updated on Labs to help take 2D drawings and turn them into 3D models.
